AKA the my body must hate me entry X_X



So I went down to Tekko and got very very very sick maybe 3-4 hours after I was there and spent a lot of time on a friends couch until i could get someone to come make the 2-3 hour drive to pick me up on Saturday. when I got back I spent most of my week recovering and then returned to work on Friday. After work Friday I had  a small non important pain in my lower back, I thought nothing of it and thought i would sleep it off. Went to work on Sunday and Monday and the small pain stayed, by the end of my shift Monday I was hurting and exhausted so i went a took a nap after work. When I woke up the pain in my back was gone YAY! But (serious face) a massive pain in the right side of my bum had moved in when the back pain hit the road. I again in my idiocy thought i would be able to sleep it off, except for the fact that I couldnt because the pain kept me awake X_X. So after having little sleep and a lot of pain for a little under 4-5 days I decided to go to the doctor about it on Friday.  Also much to my dismay there was now a new pain in my right ankle/foot, I ended up nabbing an old pair of crutches to use from the storage room at home before i went to the doctors. When I got there the doc told it was most likely Sciatica which I had figured before that thats what it probably was but i obviously wasnt sure. Doc gave me a prescription, set me up for some physical therapy and sent me on my way.  So now here I am typing this all of this happening in such a short time my body must just hate me.


Also all this just makes me not want to work on anything art or model related at all, Its just like "Hmmm I have the urge to go paint and assemble a model.......Nope scratch that the pain is sapping that urge im just gonna go lay down on the floor X_X".

Going to Tekko in the morning, really looking forward to it and cant wait to put on my new cosplay even if Im not entirely satisfied with how it turned out.  Ill be posting more pics and the like up when I get back.

Im back from Otakon I had a great time and am already looking forward to next year.  To everyone I saw there thank you for putting up with me and hope to see you again soon.

So I went to Tekko this past weekend and had a blast, seeing everyone else in Arist Alley was fun but at the same time made me feel a little useless scince I personally didnt have a table or anything to sell for that matter.  However Im trying to change that X_X, I just noticed that the wood carving i did a while back of some Anime characters I didnt upload onto DA so Im gonna upload them here in a min and hope to get some feedback from everyone if I should make more and perhaps give selling in Artist Alley at cons a go.

So Im now back home from Otakon, had a blast and got a bunch of cool stuff, I missed a couple things I wanted to goto because there was a grease fire that happened durring the con causing everyone to evacuate the building which in turn just so happened to cause the judging for the model contest to take longer than expected which made me miss some panels I wanted to go to. But I still had fun either way XD.  I will be putting some pictures of the neat swag I managed to snatch up from the dealers room this year in my featured gallery. Also A big thanks to everyone who went to Otakon with me, even though we didnt hang out alot durring the con it was still a blast. Lastly I still didnt get pictures of my cosplay at this con so if anyone has pictures of me as Gintoki from Gintama I would appreciate you sharing ^_^.
